Privacy Policy

DocForge is a set of PDF and document tools that run in your web browser. It is operated by Moonbyte Labs (“we”). This policy explains what data is and isn’t collected when you use the website.

Your files

Your files are never uploaded. Merging, splitting, compressing, converting, signing, OCR and every other tool run on your own device, inside your browser. Files and results exist only in your browser’s memory until you download them, and are discarded when you close or reload the page. We cannot see, access or recover your files.

Downloads the browser makes

Some tools download code the first time you use them, such as the OCR language packs (from the jsDelivr CDN). These requests download data to your device; they never send your files anywhere.

Data stored on your device

To remember your choices we store, in your browser’s local storage: your theme, how many free tasks you used today, your license key if you bought a plan, and your signature if you choose to save it in Sign PDF. This data stays on your device; you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. When you pay, Razorpay collects the details needed to complete the payment (such as your email, phone number and payment method) under Razorpay’s privacy policy. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

Our small payment server (hosted on Cloudflare) receives your order and payment IDs to confirm the payment and create your license key. If you use “Lost your key?”, it receives your payment ID and the email or phone you enter, only to check them against Razorpay’s record of that payment. We do not keep a database of customers.

Analytics, ads and tracking

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

DocForge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
